Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common cause of anovulatory infertility. Overall, less importance has been given to endometrium as contributor of the PCOS-related subfertility in ovulatory women with PCOS and/or in PCOS patients who ovulate under ovulation inductors. In the present review, available epidemiological, experimental and clinical data will discuss in order to clarify if endometrium plays a role in the PCOS-related subfertility.
