It is interestiwho suffered from gout and historical research shows that this has not only affected the modern era where the diagnosis was really well established.
We will successively look at the amazing number of these “prestigious gouty people” to address the pathophysiological hypotheses which were set out gradually, and the epidemiological interpretations that have come recently to explain some of these situations, especially in what we could call the “English gout epidemic”.
