There is not so much change from the continuing medical education to continuing professional development. As said elsewhere, there is not, from this point of view, that of the ethical reality of medical profession, radical change... But it should not be that this “new” system adds additional constraints in an activity already overloaded, while it draws a line on a “old” enjoyed at least by a significant minority of the profession. Looking back with hindsight this whole forum theater, it first appears that we will have to convince, and it is not won! As every doctor has the experience to his patients, getting more insistent sometimes generates more resistance.
