In 2019, too many adenomas and superficial colorectal neoplasias are directly entrusted to the surgeon, while the means of endoscopic management of complex colorectal lesions continue to progress. Although the use of an expert endoscopist is sometimes necessary, the way the lesion is entrusted must fulfill some criteria in order to ensure optimal care of the latter. Thus, from screening to treatment, the standardization of the different steps of superficial colorectal lesions’ management is a quality evidence in endoscopy of which each one at its level must be the guarantor.
