What factors influenced the perception of radioactive risks and the corresponding level of anxiety in the Japanese population after the Fukushima accident? What were their effects? What was the impact of the meetings to inform and advise residents of the contaminated areas? This first qualitative review of the literature on the subject provides some possible answers and considerations.
