Environnement, Risques & Santé

Launched in response to the information needs of the various actors on the environmental scene, Environnement, Risques & Santé is a cross-disciplinary journal covering all subjects that involve the environment and health.
Climatology, toxicology, epidemiology, biophysics, earth and water sciences, the study of radiation…: all the health issues relevant to those fields are studied in Environnement, Risques & Santé, from identifying health risks to examining legislation and standards.
Environnement, Risques & Santé intersperses original articles with summary reports on the state of international research and scientific debate, under the supervision of three completely independent Editorial Boards.
Thanks to its wealth of content and to the expertise of the Editorial Board members – all leading experts in their fields – Environnement, Risques & Santé sets out to be the scientific benchmark on environmental health.
Environnement Risques et Santé is the official magazine of the Society francophone Health and Environment (SFSE).

Objectives and scope of Environnement, Risques & Santé
Environnement, Risques & Santé is a peer-reviewed, high-impact, French-language bimonthly journal aimed at scientists, doctors, engineers and all practitioners interested in all aspects of the relationship between the environment and health: characterization of hazards, assessment of population exposure, assessment of health risks, prevention and management actions.
The journal covers all aspects of environmental health, defined as those aspects of human health, including quality of life, determined by physical, chemical, biological, social, psychosocial and aesthetic factors in our environment. It also covers policies for the prevention and management of these risks using a “One Health” approach. The topics covered are very broad: indoor and outdoor air quality, water quality, soil quality, chemical risks, biological risks, physical risks, emerging risks, climate change, urban planning and health, food and health, biodiversity and health, exposome study, methodological aspects, etc.
Environnement, Risques & Santé is the leading French-language scientific journal in environmental health.
Environnement, Risques & Santé is the official journal of the French-speaking Society for Environmental Health (SFSE, www.sfse.org). Each year, a themed issue is dedicated to the SFSE congress and the work of the SFSE, particularly from its working sections, is published in the journal.
