The French Public Health Agency promoted a participatory approach to study the health of populations exposed to the fire in the Lubrizol and NL Logistique plants in September 2019. Based on the preoccupations of stakeholders, it involves them in the construction of the survey and the analysis of the results. In this paper, the coordinator of this approach presents the criteria used to define the role of the stakeholders and his approach to participation as a process.
