Post-traumatic carotid-jugular fistula is a rare condition. We report a case to understand the mechanism through doppler ultrasound and angioscanner data. The patient is a 22-year-old woman who was the victim of a stabbing attack to the neck. The clinical examination revealed a latero-cervical swelling associated with a thrill. The doppler ultrasound showed an abnormal jugulo-carotid communication and aneurysm making arteriovenous fistula suspicious and confirmed by angioscanner.
