Type 2 diabetes remains a major concern for all health professionals, being itself considered a true global “pandemic”. Its prevalence is high and will continue to increase in the years to come, becoming more prevalent in the elderly and very elderly. We propose a general synthesis and a focus on diabetes in the elderly with the GERODIAB study.
