The occurrence of focal neurological signs in non-ketotic hyperglycemia (NKH) is known , the most significant being partial motor seizures triggered by voluntary limb movements . Ictal SPECT in extratemporal partial seizures shows focal cortical hyperperfusion. Ipsilateral basal ganglia and contralateral cerebellar hyperperfusion can also be seen . Our aim was to study the interictal and ictal SPECT findings in reflex partial seizures induced by movement in an elderly patient with NKH.
