The occurrence of focal neurological signs in non-ketotic hyperglycemia (NKH) is known [1], the most significant being partial motor seizures triggered by voluntary limb movements [2]. Ictal SPECT in extratemporal partial seizures shows focal cortical hyperperfusion. Ipsilateral basal ganglia and contralateral cerebellar hyperperfusion can also be seen [3]. Our aim was to study the interictal and ictal SPECT findings in reflex partial seizures induced by movement in an elderly patient with NKH.
