To the Editor,Cvetkovska et al. detailed some associations between co-morbidities and newonset epilepsy among adults [1]. Among systemic vascular conditions, hypertension was a common finding for these patients. Such a study must be juxtaposed with the proposition of hypertension as a predictor for epilepsy based on The Framingham Heart Study data which also provides indirect but yet ongoing support for the concept of progressive latent and subclinical hypertensive cerebral microvascular disease [...]
