Like any drug, vaccines may expose to rare but serious adverse reactions. However, it may be difficult, if not impossible, to assert or invalidate with certainty that such an adverse effect is due to such a vaccine. And in such situations, rumors, inaccurate information or peremptory statements can participate in the crisis of confidence in vaccines. We summarize here four “stories of vaccinovigilance” which have given rise to many works and debates.
