After reviewing the existing literature, the authors of this article call for better quality research to measure the effect of direct or indirect wind turbine visibility on the health of local populations. According to current knowledge, wind turbine visibility can be associated with annoyance, and less evidently, with sleep disorders, which could result from the annoyance.
