A 49-year-old man presented with a two-year history of a slowly growing, slightly painful mass on the left middle finger with nail changes. On examination, a soft subungual mass could be observed and palpated with hyperconvexity, thinning, and dystrophy of the nail plate, as well as an apparent central dorsal pterygium (figure 1A, B). The mass trans-illuminated approximately as equally as the surrounding tissues. Plain radiograph of the finger revealed soft tissue enlargement without osteolysis [...]
