Post-traumatic Dorsal Enucleation Fracture of the Second Cuneiform: a Rare Lesion about a Case Volume 36, issue 4, Décembre 2020

The enucleation fracture of the second cuneiform bone is a rare lesion, considered to be a variety of Lisfranc's dislocation. We describe a case, occurring in a 25-year-old patient, following an accident on a public highway. The patient benefited from a radiological assessment which allowed a good analysis of the traumatic lesions as well as an adapted plan for the surgical treatment. The operative procedure consisted in a reduction of the dislocation and the management of the associated lesions by osteosynthesis. The patient presented a good clinical and radiological evolution as well as a normal resumption of the daily activity after a period of adapted rehabilitation.
