Small bowel investigations has known simultaneously two new developments due to technical progresses: in endoscopy across wireless capsule endoscopy and push or double-balloon entéroscopie; in radiology with sonography completed by contrast, power doppler, CT enterography or magnetic resonance imaging adapted to small bowel pathology. These new investigations are evaluated in front of different clinical patterns. The complementarily of endoscopic and radiologic techniques are particularly fit to investigate the small intestine.
