A 62-year-old Japanese woman presented with left lower abdominal swelling and redness with tenderness in October 2012. The patient had diabetes mellitus requiring insulin therapy, and she and her parents had a history of pulmonary tuberculosis. She had myasthenia gravis since 2003, and an extended thymectomy had been performed for thymoma. During the administration of prednisolone (35 mg/day) and tacrolimus (4 mg/day) for post-operative thymoma in July 2012, she was diagnosed with adult-onset Still's [...]
