Attention Deficit with or without Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are both neurodevelopmental disorders with independent clinical descriptions. They have therefore long been studied independently from each other, the clinician couldn’t diagnose a cooccurrence between these two disorders. Following the observation of strong mutual cooccurrences, the DSM-5 offers the new opportunity of this “dual diagnosis”. This allowed to change our clinical representations and practices, allowing us to ask about the social problems of our patients with ADHD. The description of such difficulties observed at a young age of patients and isolating them from other children, whatever the type or severity of their ADHD, must orient us to the systematic exploration of the their social sphere. The goal is to better understand and consider their individual peculiarities and appreciate the level of handicap, but mainly better prevent potential social impact while supporting more specifically these children in this area. This therapeutic approach joining a multimodal care, offering drug therapy, rehabilitation and parental training.
