The premature baby is particularly sensitive to his environment. It is subject to many sensory stimuli and plunged into a “ bath of affects ” from his parents but also from the caregivers. Developmental care with these babies are based on the establishment of a working environment allying technical care and observation of the baby, listening to the parents - weakened by the prematurity - and consideration of their singularity. In this complex context, if the caregivers are asked in an obvious way for their expertise they are also mentally and emotionally. This dimension if it is worked - allows to enrich the practice and the care.
