Psychotrauma is an emotional shock that can provoke lasting psychological damage where personal invulnerability is destroyed and spiritual beliefs are harmed. The consequences of trauma occur both at the family and at the individual level. They are manifested by a split in each individual's psychic apparatus as well as a tear in family ties. Exposed to a violent situation, the family requires early care with a dual collective and individual approach. Based on a clinical history, within the framework of psychotrauma, we present a collaborative therapeutic process, by addressing different perspectives, including the impact of a major traumatic event on organization and family dynamics.
