Set up of a program of « therapeutic education » in a medico-psychological center.A psycho-educative program directed by a team working in the extra-hospital section, whose support is proposed by the pharmaceutical industry, may have other ambitions than getting the best possible observation of the medical treatment. In addition to an intellectual work about the knowing of the patient and his pathology, this program appeals to personal affects (admitting that you are ill, sharing one’s psychological experiences which are not exclusively symptoms) and interpersonal affects between the members of the group ; it has an influence on the relationship between those who heal and those who are healed. Our aim is to explain and analyze a work carried out during sixteen weeks on eight psychotic patients, in order to judge whether this kind of process can seal a better therapeutic alliance with the patient but also with the people around him, and how this can be done, without reducing the control of the disease, as best as it can be.
