Early psychosis intervention services have been developed worldwide, together with an attempt to redefine the criteria and the stage development of psychosis, in order to provide specific care. The authors describe these programs and, more specifically, the program developed in Wallonia (Belgium): Ecotone. The aim of this paper was also to consider the issues raised by these types of projects as regards diagnosis and treatment prescribed in early psychosis.
