Subscription Terms and Conditions
1. Offer
1.1. Individual, student and member subscriptions
For subscriptions including the paper version, customers receive the paper copies as soon as each issue is published at the address indicated at the time of ordering.
Shipping costs are included in the rates shown.
For subscriptions including the web version, customers may access the electronic version for the entire duration of the subscription via the website www.jle.com. The subscription includes viewing current issues, archives and other online content included in the subscriptions of the journals concerned.
The strictly personal access codes (login and password) are sent by e-mail to the address indicated at the time of ordering. If no email address has been entered, it is possible to activate the account directly on the website using the subscriber number (see invoice or customer service).
Since the Individual, Student or Member subscription is reserved for personal use, it is strictly forbidden to trade it or to share access codes with other users. In the event of default, John Libbey Eurotext reserves the right to prosecute offenders.
The subscription ends at the time the last issue is published.
1.2. Institutional subscription
An Institutional subscription refers to any subscription taken out by a government department, hospital, library, an association, a company, a health industry player, or an administration-type public institution.
1.2.1 Subscriptions including the Paper version
Customers receive the paper copies as soon as the issue is published at the address indicated at the time of ordering. Shipping costs are included in the rates shown.
1.2.2 Subscriptions including the Web version
At the time of the first order the customer must attach a duly completed and signed licence contract.
Customers access the electronic version throughout the subscription period via the website www.jle.com or through direct URL links to the journals. The subscription includes consultation of the current issues, archives and any other online content included in the subscriptions of the journals concerned.
For establishments with fewer than 20 users or fewer than 1,000 Full Time Employees (FTEs) located on a single site, access is a choice of: login - password or automatic IP address recognition (indicated in the licence agreement and / or on the order form). Institutions in this category benefit from the rates shown on the website.
For establishments with more than 20 users or more than 1000 FTEs (Full Time Employees) or for establishments with multiple sites, access to content will be by automatic IP address recognition (indicated in the licence agreement and / or the order form). These institutions should contact the specialist agencies or our sales department contact@jle.com for a personal quote.
1.3. Supplements / additional volumes
Additional volumes are sometimes published. Some of these special supplements are not included in the price of the subscription and are provided only upon receipt of a separate order.
2. Rates
The current rates are those set by John Libbey Eurotext.
They are in euros (€) and all taxes are included.
3. Beginning and end of the subscription
The subscription begins on receipt of payment.
It runs for the duration chosen at the time of ordering - either one year or two years.
When the subscription expires, it is not tacitly renewed.
4. Payment
Payment is made in accordance with the payment methods shown on the website payment page and in euros (€).
Customers can pay online by credit card by filling in the 100% secure form on the website.
It is also possible to pay by cheque by returning your order form with your payment to the following address:

4.1. Individual subscription
For the individual rate, the subscription and the payment must be in the name of a natural person.
Payment cannot be made by a government department, health industry player, research laboratory, private company, an association, or a library.
All payments are made in full at the time of ordering, otherwise the subscription will not be accepted.
The shipping costs for the paper copies are included in the rates shown.
4.2. Student subscription
The student rate is only granted on presentation of proof (copy of both sides of a current student card or a valid certificate). It is possible to send these supporting documents by post or they can be uploaded directly into the space provided for this purpose from your personal account.
An invoice will not be issued for this type of subscription.
All payments are made in full at the time of ordering, otherwise the subscription will not be accepted.

4.3. Institutional subscription
This tariff applies to all subscriptions taken out and paid for by a legal entity: government department (hospital department, research laboratory, university, etc.), library, association, company, health industry player, healthcare establishment, medical practice.
Payment can be made by credit card, cheque, bank transfer, administrative payment order.
An invoice is issued automatically.
Customers providing an intra-Community VAT number when ordering will be exempt from taxes.
5. Delivery
If the subscription is for a paper version, customers receive their copy as soon as the issue is published.
Delivery is by post.
The electronic version is available on publication on the website www.jle.com.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, copyright and other intellectual property rights to any John Libbey Eurotext journals will remain the property of John Libbey Eurotext. The rights granted are for the sole use of the customer concerned and may not be sold, transferred or granted without the prior written consent of John Libbey Eurotext. Customers will not acquire any intellectual property rights in respect of the journals.
No commercial re-use of the articles obtained after payment or free of charge is permitted.
7. Reimbursement
Any claims should be sent in writing to our subscription service at abonnements@jle.com.
John Libbey Eurotext will examine any request for reimbursement of a subscription on a case by case basis.

9. Applicable law –disputes
This agreement is subject to French law.
The language of this contract is French.
In the event of a dispute, the French courts.
