To the Editor,Global collaborations in medical research provide novel and highly efficient ways to plan, perform, and disseminate medical research. Examples of such collaborations in epileptology include EpiCARE1, the ENIGMA-epilepsy project2, and the Epilepsy Genetics (EPIGEN) Consortium [1].
