Euphoric or hedonic theta hypersynchrony appears to be an unusual finding in the electroencephalography of the child, and it has been rarely reported. This case report presents a 4-year-old child who responded to pleasurable stimulation with a robust, diffuse theta activity, and also samples some of the thoughts that such a response can generate.
