Concussive seizure in a 16-year-old football goalkeeper Volume 23, numéro 3, June 2021

The video presents a moment when a 16-year-old football goalkeeper receives a blow from an elbow to the head in mid-air whilst jumping to save a goal. After the injury, he falls to the ground and also bumps his head. He loses consciousness immediately and has a tonic-clonic jerk of the whole body, lasting for nearly two minutes. The convulsions resolve spontaneously. The medical team provides emergency care and takes the goalkeeper off the field.
