Reports on blue nevus (BN) involving the nail apparatus are exceedingly rare, with less than 12 published cases in the literature [1–6]. We report two cases of subungual BN focusing on the dermatoscopic features, and discuss their correlation with the underlying histopathological alterations.The first patient was a 56-year-old woman with nail dyschromia that had appeared two years ago.
