A 62-year-old woman, with no relevant past medical history, presented with a one-year history of a painful well-defined ivory-white-coloured nodular lesion, located on the right thigh (figure 1A). Dermoscopy showed a greyish-white background with a chrysalis structure associated with a rainbow pattern and dotted vessels (figure 1B).
