Acrokeratosis paraneoplastica (APN), also known as Bazex syndrome, is a rare psoriasiform dermatosis associated with malignancies of a squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) origin. Often, these malignancies are localised to the head and neck. Diagnosis may be delayed as APN can mimic common inflammatory dermatoses such as eczema or psoriasis.
