In the event of a seizure, cardiac etiologies are considered part of
the differential diagnosis and must be ruled out. However, electrocardiographic
abnormalities are frequentlyseen during epileptic seizures: sinus tachycardia,
bradycardia, sino-atrial block, atrio-ventricular block or sinus arrest,
as well as various other cardiac arrhythmias, have been described .
Electrocardiographic anomalies have been linked to sudden, unexpected
