Declaration of bias I may be biased, but I think it not improper to be so. Since my Neurology Fellowship with Stobo Prichard in his department in the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, I have been fascinated by anoxic seizures and anoxic-epileptic seizures [1, 2]. It is difficult to be sure, but I think that amongst the patients with non-epileptic seizures referred to me over 30 years, the overwhelming predominance of anoxic seizures [...]
