Drug-induced lupus (DIL) is a rare lupus-like adverse drug reaction that regresses after discontinuation of the causative drug [1, 2]. We report a patient with DIL caused by TS-1 (tegafur, gimeracil, and oteracil, a 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) agent), who developed lupus-like skin lesions and anti-Sm antibody (Ab). The skin lesions reappeared upon rechallenge with TS-1, and drug discontinuation resulted in the prompt resolution of the skin lesions and a reduction of anti-Sm Ab titres.A 78-year-old man [...]
