A two-year-old boy presented with a history of asymptomatic multiple hyperpigmented macules on the forehead and temples for more than a year (figure 1A, B). Previous skin lesions or inflammation was not observed at the same location, and no topical agents had been applied. The Darier's sign was negative. There were no similar lesions on other parts of the body. His parents were non-consanguineous. The patient was otherwise healthy with no correlative family history.
