Waldenström's macroglobulinemia (WM) is characterized by the proliferation of lymphoplasmacytoid cells that secrete monoclonal IgM [1, 2]. Diagnosis is based on the presence of a peak serum immunoglobulin electrophoresis consisting of a monoclonal IgM [2, 3].
