Hookworm-related cutaneous larva migrans (HrCLM) is endemic in tropical countries, and cases in Western Europe are usually seen in returning travellers [1]. Two recent reported cases of HrCLM acquired in Spain [2, 3] raised the suspicion of an increased incidence in temperate Europe.
