A 58-year-old white man from Ouagadougou (Burkina Fasso) presented with non-scaling, infiltrated, erythematous, annular plaques, involving the trunk, arms and legs. The first lesion arose on the right arm 21/2 years earlier, and was depigmented, hypoesthesic and surrounded by an erythematous infiltrated border. He had been living in Africa for at least 20 years.
