Lamellar ichthyosis (LI) is a rare genetic disturbance of keratinization
that is characterized by the presence of scales covering the surface of
the body together with erythrodermia, ectropion, alopecia and onychodystrophy.
Although two forms congenital ichthyosiform erythrodermia and non-erythrodermic
lamellar ichthyosis have been described , many cases show mixed
