Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is an inflammatory, disabling, chronic skin disease with prevalence estimated at about 1% in the European population [1]. A long diagnostic delay has been identified with an average of 7.2 years based on the study of Saunte et al. which involved 24 countries [2] and 8.4 years based on a French survey [3].
