A 13-month-old boy presented with a recurrent pruritic rash on his hands and feet since he was two months old. Examination revealed striking skin-coloured vesicles and pustules on the plantar aspects of both feet extending to the medial insteps and on his right palm (figure 1). He had several ineffective anti-scabies treatments.
