A healthy 37-year-old woman presented to our clinic for evaluation of an asymptomatic, enlarging lesion on the right side of the chin that had appeared a few weeks before. On physical examination, a non-ulcerated, erythematous and infiltrated plaque, measuring less than 1 cm, was noted (figure 1A). No other lesions were evident on full skin examination.
