For several years, France has faced situations of supply pressure and even shortages of vaccines. However, this contributes to a lack of confidence in vaccination of the public and healthcare professionals. The reasons for these difficulties are various: cessation of production of vaccines by drug laboratories, temporary difficulties in production, non-compliance during quality control, increasing global demand for vaccines. While facing these difficulties, the responsibility of the State is engaged in order to supply the French market and to reinforce the prioritization of vaccine recommendations.
