The recent concept of “One health” or “global health” insists on the unity of life, encompassing the health of humans, animals and ecosystems. Numerous examples of human and animal diseases often linked to environmental damage confirm this approach and emphasize the need for better prevention and training, both of which still face persistent obstacles. This article proposes ways to change attitudes and encourage action.
