* This news is based on the following article: Nappi F, Barrea L, Di Somma C, et al. Endocrine aspects of environmental “obesogen” pollutants. Int J Environ Res Public Health 2016; 13.pii: E765.doi: 10.3390/ijerph13080765

Two articles on obesogenic endocrine disruptors examine their recent history and review the knowledge, highlighting the essential points in a new, but already rich, experimental literature. The authors agree that little is understood about the link between exposure to these xenobiotics and the obesity epidemic; they also agree that this link is sufficiently plausible to require further action.
