Schizencephaly is an uncommon congenital malformation caused by defective cell migration during the early prenatal period [1]. Schizencephaly usually presents with developmental delays, motor weakness, or recurrent seizures during childhood [2]. Rarely, it may present with super-refractory status epilepticus (SRSE) [3].
