Answers

(1) Increased risk of uncontrollable seizures and SUDEP.

(2) Seizures recorded during AED tapering are considered valid for localizing the epileptogenic zone, however, in certain cases, AED withdrawal leads to a change in localization or more diffuse epileptic discharges.
