EEG source estimation in a rare patient with cold-induced reflex epilepsy Volume 22, issue 4, August 2020

Figure 1

Interictal and ictal EEG data. Seizure onset and termination are marked as red labels. Three-second representative EEG data (highlighted in light red) were chosen from the interictal (eye-opening), early ictal, and mid-late ictal stages for presenting source estimation results for the δ (1-4 Hz), θ (4-8 Hz), α (8-13 Hz) and β (13-30 Hz) frequency bands.

Figure 2

Topographic map of the average absolute values of three-second EEG data from interictal, early ictal and mid-late ictal stages, and the corresponding right and left views of the source map estimated by applying a non-parametric bootstrap-based statistical procedure at the cortical level. Only significant changes in the early ictal and mid-late ictal epochs relative to the interictal epoch are shown on the cortex surface. Non-significant changes are not displayed on the grey cortex.
