Calciphylaxis is a rare cryptogenic disease characterized by ischaemic skin ulcers due to hypodermal necrosis as a result of calcification of the whole artery wall, mainly on the small blood vessels. Here, we report a case of calciphylaxis treated with sodium thiosulphate (STS), low-density lipoprotein-apheresis, cinacalcet, and lanthanum carbonate.
