Diuretic drugs have been associated with bullous pemphigoid (BP), and furosemide is the most frequently cited among this group [1-3]. Acetazolamide, a diuretic drug often prescribed after cataract surgery, has been reported to cause pemphigus vulgaris relapse [4]. To date, no cases of acetazolamide-induced BP have been reported.
