An 11-year-old girl presented with several blisters on both knees. She reported that the painful skin lesions had inexplicably appeared on previously healthy skin some days before on the right knee and on the day after on the opposite side. Similar skin changes had occurred several weeks before on the forearms and had healed after treatment with oral antibiotics.
