With all three paradigms, there is right-sided BOLD activation in the right superior temporal sulcus (blue arrows), consistent with right-hemispheric dominance. Inferior frontal gyri activation (white arrows) is seen in the right hemisphere only for English (A) and German (B) but in both hemispheres for French (C).
